Sea Dragons Swim Squad
Stronger Skills. Greater
Endurance. Lifelong Confidence.
Our Squad program supports capable swimmers to refine technique, build endurance, and strengthen race-ready skills — all within a positive, structured, and encouraging environment. We focus on performance with purpose, helping children grow as confident, disciplined swimmers for life.
Structured Training with Purpose
and Progression
Our Squad program is designed for swimmers who have developed strong foundational skills and are ready to train at a higher level. Sessions focus on refining all four strokes, improving endurance, and developing efficient technique.
Training is structured and goal-oriented, while maintaining the supportive Aquatots culture families value. We build fitness, resilience, and focus — without losing sight of confidence and enjoyment in the water.
Advanced Stroke Development
We refine freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly technique. Swimmers improve timing, breathing patterns, starts, and turns with detailed coaching feedback.
Endurance
& Conditioning
Structured swim sets build stamina, pacing skills, and cardiovascular fitness. Children learn how to train effectively and manage effort across distances.
Positive Squad
Culture
We create a team environment where swimmers feel motivated, supported, and proud of their progress. Discipline and commitment grow alongside confidence.
The Aquatots Sea Dragons is for kids who have learned to swim. It helps them keep swimming for fun or competitions. Our Sea Dragon swim squads will work on fitness levels, advanced life-saving skills and racing techniques.
A squad training session is 1 hour duration and children can attend more than one session per week if they wish.
Once a term Aquatots offers an in-house carnival for the children to practice their racing skills. There is the option to join the Sea Dragon comp squad. The comp squad also competes at events outside of the Aquatots programs.
With the Aquatots method of learn to swim we have many children moving up through the program that get to a squad level of swimming at a very young age. Our Sea Dragon squad aims to keep kids enjoying swimming. We want them to have fun until they’re ready to decide on a swimming career. This method helps prevent early burnout in our swimmers. It has produced amazing athletes who achieve great results and share a strong passion for the sport.
Our coaches are all fully qualified and passionate about coaching the children. They focus on perfecting their technique for a quick, effective racing stroke. They also develop skills that could someday save their life or someone else’s.
