Baby Swimming Lessons
Building a Foundation of
Confidence for a Lifetime of Safety
Our Baby & Toddler program is designed to create a calm, nurturing, and positive first experience with water. We focus on gentle familiarisation, foundational safety skills, and the parent-child bond, ensuring your little one develops a love and respect for the water from the very beginning.
A Gentle, Supportive, and Engaging Journey
Our Baby & Toddler program is more than just splashing and songs. It is a structured, developmentally appropriate curriculum designed to build the foundational skills for water safety and confidence. Each lesson is carefully planned to introduce new concepts in a fun, reassuring, and effective way.
Calm & Nurturing Environment
Lessons are held in our warm (32°C), private pools, creating a calm and distraction-free environment where your child can feel secure and focused.
Developmentally Appropriate Activities
We use fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities to teach essential skills like breath control, submersion, and back floating. Every activity has a purpose.
Focus on Parent-Child Connection
These parent-child classes are a wonderful opportunity to bond with your little one while learning essential water safety skills together. Our instructors guide you every step of the way.
Aquatots baby swimming lessons come from caring infant aquatic specialists. They believe every child should feel safe and confident in the water. This program offers more than just swimming lessons. It nurtures your child's natural abilities. It also supports their physical growth, coordination, and motor skills. These benefits will help them for a lifetime.
Our baby programs welcome tiny swimmers from just 6 weeks old right through to 3 years. We’ve designed each level for specific age groups. We know that every developmental milestone is important for water confidence and safety.
Your baby will discover the joy of water through playful activities designed to capture their imagination. They splash and giggle, but they're also learning important survival skills. This fun helps their physical development in ways that go beyond the pool.
Research shows that kids who are exposed to water early on don’t just swim better. They usually show better physical coordination and thinking skills than their peers. This gives them lasting advantages.
Let us guide your precious little one on their aquatic journey, creating memories and skills they'll carry forever.

Your Questions Answered
What is the best age to start swim lessons?
The American Academy of Pediatrics supports swim lessons for children as young as 1, but we believe that gentle water familiarisation can begin as early as 6 weeks. The key is a gentle, age-appropriate approach.
What if my child cries?
It is normal for some children to be hesitant or cry at first. Our instructors are trained to handle this with patience and care. We will work with you and your child to build trust and comfort at a pace that feels right for them.
How many lessons will it take for my child to be water-safe?
Water safety is a journey, not a destination. Our program is designed to build skills progressively over time. While we don’t make guarantees, our focus on consistent safety integration in every lesson helps children develop instinctive safety responses.
What do I need to bring to class?
You will need a swim nappy for your child, a towel, and your own swimwear. We provide all the necessary teaching equipment.
