Your Questions Answered

  • What is the best age to start swim lessons?

The American Academy of Pediatrics supports swim lessons for children as young as 1, but we believe that gentle water familiarisation can begin as early as 6 weeks. The key is a gentle, age-appropriate approach.

  • What if my child cries?

It is normal for some children to be hesitant or cry at first. Our instructors are trained to handle this with patience and care. We will work with you and your child to build trust and comfort at a pace that feels right for them.

  • How many lessons will it take for my child to be water-safe?

Water safety is a journey, not a destination. Our program is designed to build skills progressively over time. While we don’t make guarantees, our focus on consistent safety integration in every lesson helps children develop instinctive safety responses.

  • What do I need to bring to class?

You will need a swim nappy for your child, a towel, and your own swimwear. We provide all the necessary teaching equipment.
