Sea Dragons Swim Squad
The Aquatots Sea Dragons is for kids who have learned to swim. It helps them keep swimming for fun or competitions. Our Sea Dragon swim squads will work on fitness levels, advanced life saving skills and racing techniques.
A squad training session is 1 hour duration and children can attend more than one session per week if they wish.
Once a term Aquatots offers an in-house carnival for the children to practice their racing skills. There is the option to join the Sea Dragon comp squad. The comp squad also competes at events outside of the Aquatots programs.
With the Aqautots method of learn to swim we have many children moving up through the program that get to a squad level of swimming at a very young age. Our Sea Dragon squad aims to keep kids enjoying swimming. We want them to have fun until they’re ready to decide on a swimming career. This method helps prevent early burnout in our swimmers. It has produced amazing athletes who achieve great results and share a strong passion for the sport.
Our coaches are all fully qualified and passionate about coaching the children. They focus on perfecting their technique for a quick, effective racing stroke. They also develop skills that could someday save their life or someone else’s.
