Sea Dragons Swim Squad

The Aquatots Sea Dragons has been developed for children that have completed their learn to swim but wish to continue swimming for fitness or competitive reasons. Our Sea Dragon swim squads will work on fitness levels, advanced life saving skills and racing techniques.

A squad training session is 1 hour duration and children can attend more than one session per week if they wish.

Once a term Aquatots offers an in-house carnival for the children to practice their racing skills. There is the option to join the Sea Dragon comp squad. The comp squad also competes at events outside of the Aquatots programs.

With the Aqautots method of learn to swim we have many children moving up through the program that get to a squad level of swimming at a very young age. The idea around our Sea Dragon squad is to keep the kids enjoying the sport of swimming until they are at an age where they make the decision to take their swimming career further. This method avoids an early burn out in our swimmers and has created some unbelievable swimmers that get great results but also have a great passion for the sport.

Our coaches are all fully qualified and passionate about coaching the children. They work on getting the technique right to ensure a fast and effective stroke when racing and build on skills that may one day save their life or someone else's.
